About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Fabric Maintenance Specialist to join our team at a leading student accommodation provider in London. As a Fabric Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining assets through management of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programmes and reactive maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hands-on maintenance with a focus on plant rooms (PPMs and minor repairs as appropriate)
  • Liaising with external contractors for electrical and mechanical maintenance
  • Fabric maintenance where required (painting, carpentry etc.)
  • Point of contact for maintenance assistants on site (not directly line managing)
  • Support maintenance manager with the achievement of 100% compliance in audit
  • Ensure adherence to H&S policies and ensuring that risk assessments and method statements are obtained/maintained
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require experience in a maintenance position within a commercial environment, ideally within a multi-floor residential setting. You will also need to have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
