Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our team at ZipRecruiter. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor site timelines and manage budgets/resources to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Promote a high-quality culture and ensure all health and safety standards are adhered to.
  • Liaise with the Project and Contracts Manager to report any changes to schedule.
  • Manage and coordinate the work of site staff, including laborers, engineers, and other contractors.
  • Ensure that all site activities are carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and hazards on site.
  • Develop and implement site-specific safety plans and procedures.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement and logistics, to ensure smooth site operations.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of site activities, including progress reports and safety records.

Requirements:

  • Experience working as a Site Manager on civil engineering and infrastructure projects.
  • SMSTS certification.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
