Facilities Operations Manager

Job Summary
The Facilities Supervisor will support the Facilities Co-ordinator in delivering high-quality soft facilities services and manage the effective and efficient delivery of local site services and facilities. They will be responsible for assisting the Facilities Co-ordinator in the day-to-day running of the multi-skilled Facilities Department and ensuring effective utilisation of resources. The postholder will report to the Facilities Co-ordinator and be responsible for ensuring all services are delivered in accordance with National Standards.
Main Responsibilities
The Facilities Supervisor will be responsible for sourcing and ordering goods or services in line with best practice and procedure. They will undertake stock control, monitoring progress of orders, dealing with discrepancies, and maintaining records of all purchases to ensure that invoices can be reconciled. The postholder will be responsible for leading and guiding the Facilities staff, often supervising multiple roles and promoting an environment of operational excellence. They will ensure that all equipment and materials are kept clean and in a good state of repair, reporting defects immediately and ensuring that they are available to use in the quickest time possible.
