Neighbourhood Support Worker - London

Ackerman Pierce Ltd is seeking a skilled Neighbourhood Support Worker to join our team in Camden, London. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out initial safeguarding enquiries, providing advice, and working with individuals at risk.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Carrying out initial safeguarding enquiries and s42 investigations
  2. Providing guidance to the public, partner agencies, and regulated care providers on safeguarding matters
  3. Completing home visits and safeguarding assessments and reports
  4. Liaising with other professionals
  5. Remaining up-to-date with relevant legislation
  6. Managing cases effectively
  7. Working with individuals who are vulnerable and those who have caused harm
  8. Participating in multidisciplinary meetings
  9. Referring individuals to relevant support services

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience as a Neighbourhood Support Worker or within a similar role
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • At least 3 years' experience working in the UK social care sector
  • An enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
  • The ability to work in the UK

Estimated Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum.
