Job Title: Neighbourhood Social Care Specialist
Location: London Borough of Camden
This is a competitive £45,000 - £60,000 per annum role offering flexible work times and opportunities to develop your skills. As a Neighbourhood Social Care Specialist, you will be responsible for carrying out initial safeguarding enquiries and s42 enquiries, providing advice to the public and partner agencies regarding safeguarding concerns, and completing home visits and safeguarding assessments and reports.
Key Responsibilities:- Carrying out initial safeguarding enquiries and s42 enquiries
- Providing advice to the public and partner agencies regarding safeguarding concerns
- Completing home visits and safeguarding assessments and reports
- Liaising with other professionals
- Holding cases
- Working with people at risk and those who have caused harm
- Post-qualifying experience of working as a Neighbourhood Team Social Worker or within a Locality Team
- HCPC Registration
- Three years post-qualifying experience within the UK Social Care industry
- Enhanced DBS/CRB (can be obtained)
- Eligibility to work in the UK
