Job Overview

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Key Stage 1 SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team in a charismatic catholic primary school in the borough of Kensington and Chelsea.

About the School

This is a huge primary school with supportive leadership in a diverse and affluent area. The school has a good behaviour policy and is easily accessible via public transport.

The Role

The successful candidate will work with a child in Year 1 who is non-verbal, requiring an understanding of autism or previous experience supporting children with ASD. A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification will be looked favourably upon. Graduates looking to pursue a career in education are also encouraged to apply.

Requirements

- Experience working in Key Stage 1 as a SEND Teaching Assistant

- Understanding of autism or previous experience supporting children with ASD

- Level 2 or Level 3 qualification desirable

- Ability to work with non-verbal children
