Job Description

SANZA Teaching Agency is currently recruiting for a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team at a high-performing primary school in the London area. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with autism and a passion for supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

About the Role

The successful applicant will work closely with a child in Year 3 who requires additional 1:1 support. The child has mild autism and does not exhibit challenging behavior. The SENDCo and the child's parents will work collaboratively with the successful candidate to provide the best support possible.

Requirements

  1. Prior experience working with children with autism and/or SEN.
  2. A desire to support children with SEND and contribute to a positive learning environment.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Able to work effectively as part of a team and maintain confidentiality.
