About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team at a specialist school in Ealing. This is a full-time contract position that requires the ability to provide 1-to-1 support for pupils with Autism and learning difficulties. In this role, you will work closely with the class teacher and other SEND Teaching Assistants to support pupils in various learning activities within the classroom and during therapy sessions. You will need to be robust and able to handle challenging and unpredictable behaviours. The ideal candidate will have excellent attendance and commitment to ensuring consistency for students. All staff members have access to regular professional development training.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1-to-1 support for pupils with Autism and learning difficulties.
  • Work closely with the class teacher and other SEND Teaching Assistants to support pupils in various learning activities.
  • Be able to handle challenging and unpredictable behaviours.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience working with individuals with Autism and learning difficulties. You should also have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively as part of a team. A salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per year, depending on experience, is offered for this position.
