**Job Description:**

You will collaborate with your team to implement care plans, support young people in developing living skills, access education and therapy, promote positive behaviour, help individuals manage their emotions and behaviours effectively, and build positive relationships with the children, their families, and other professionals in care and education.

  • Support young people aged 8 to 16 with additional needs in residential settings.
  • Assist teenagers aged 16 to 18 in semi-independent accommodation.
  • Provide temporary accommodation for individuals transitioning from past placements.
  • Offer respite care to individuals while their families take necessary breaks.
  • Provide outreach support for vulnerable children and young people.
**Position Details:**
  • Position: Support Worker (Children)
  • Type of Work: Temporary with temp-to-perm options available
  • Start Date: ASAP (immediate hours available)
  • Duration: Ongoing
  • Full-Time/Part-Time: Full-time with varied shift patterns to suit work/life balance
  • Hours: Long days, waking nights, and sleep-in shifts available with flexible hours to fit your schedule

The estimated salary for this role is £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
