We are seeking a highly skilled Maths Education Specialist to join our team at Phoenix Learning & Care Group. As a Lead Maths Educator, you will have the opportunity to develop and implement tailored maths curriculums for our pupils, promoting maths in a positive way across the school.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our pupils. As a Maths Curriculum Developer, you will work closely with our teaching team to create inspirational ways to make maths enjoyable for all pupils, regardless of their abilities or interests.

You will be responsible for leading classroom activities, including planning, teaching, and assessing learning, particularly with your designated class. You will also work closely with pupils to keep them engaged, motivated, and inspired to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement maths curriculums for our pupils
  • Lead classroom activities, including planning, teaching, and assessing learning
  • Work closely with pupils to keep them engaged, motivated, and inspired
  • Support the teaching team in delivering maths across the school
  • Monitor and record progress, both academically and against EHCP outcomes
Requirements
  • Ability to teach maths to Level 2 (GCSE/Functional Skills)
  • Patience, compassion, and resilience
  • Great communication skills
  • A driving licence
  • A genuine interest in a career focused on the education of people with a wide range of needs
