About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Property Manager to join our team at Kings Permanent Recruitment for Estate Agents & Financial Services Professionals. As a Property Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing a portfolio of managed properties and working closely with our Lettings and Property Management team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Property Portfolio Management: Assist in overseeing a portfolio of managed properties, ensuring timely and efficient management of properties, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Coordinate and manage repair and maintenance issues, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal disruption to tenants and landlords.
  • Inspections and Check-Outs: Arrange and conduct inspections for properties, including check-outs, and ensure all necessary documentation is completed.
  • Communication and Reporting: Prepare and send reports to tenants and landlords, ensuring clear and concise communication.
  • Utility Management: Coordinate with utility companies, ensuring timely and efficient management of utility services.
  • Move-In and Move-Out: Organize and coordinate move-in and move-out processes for tenants, ensuring smooth transitions.
  • Administration and Property Management: Perform general administrative tasks, including data entry, and assist with property management duties as required.
  • Contractor Management: Arrange and coordinate with contractors to carry out necessary work, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
  • Landlord and Tenant Communication: Regularly communicate with landlords and tenants, addressing concerns and resolving issues.
  • Legislative Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, including EPC, electric, health and safety, and gas inspections.
  • Landlord Licenses: Manage and maintain landlord licenses, ensuring all necessary documentation is up-to-date.
  • Notice Serving: Serve notices as required, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
  • Court Eviction Paperwork: Assist with court eviction paperwork, ensuring accurate and timely completion.
  • Time Management and Organization: Prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and maintain accurate records.
  • IT and Administrative Skills: Utilize software systems and excel spreadsheets to manage data and perform administrative tasks.
  • Typing Skills: Possess strong typing skills, with a good typing speed.
  • Initiative and Problem-Solving: Demonstrate the ability to work independently, think critically, and solve problems effectively.
Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years' experience in property management or a related field.
  • Qualifications: ARLA (Propertymark) exams passed ideally.
  • Salary: £32,000 to £35,000 per annum, working hours 9.00am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday.
