About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Bank Domiciliary Care Assistant. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality care and support to our residents, promoting their independence, dignity, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive care and support services, including personal care and hygiene, to residents in their own homes.
  • Ensure the social support of residents, encouraging and facilitating their interests and meaningful activities.
  • Assist with resident health and well-being, including nutrition, medication, mobility, and shopping/health appointments.
  • Formulate, review, and maintain resident care plans and paperwork, adhering to regulatory bodies and SMT policies.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders across and externally to St Monica Trust.
  • Undertake housekeeping and laundry duties as necessary for residents.
Requirements
  • Understanding of the needs of older people, including dementia and complex care needs.
  • Ability to attend to personal care needs, including helping with food, bathing, toileting.
  • Good level of IT skills, including Microsoft packages.
  • Care certificate or willingness to work towards Care Certificate.
Desirable Qualifications
  • First Aid, food hygiene, and Manual Handling certifications.
