Domiciliary Care Support Worker

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Domiciliary Care Support Worker to join our team at St Monica Trust. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality care and support to our residents, promoting their independence, dignity, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive care and support services, including personal care, hygiene, and social support.
- Assist residents with daily living activities, such as nutrition, medication, and mobility.
- Develop and maintain resident care plans, ensuring consistency with regulatory bodies and St Monica Trust policies.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
- Undertake housekeeping and laundry duties as necessary.
Requirements
- Understanding of the needs of older people, including dementia and complex care needs.
- Ability to attend to personal care needs, including helping with food, bathing, and toileting.
- Good level of IT skills, including Microsoft packages.
- Care certificate or willingness to work towards Care Certificate.

Hours and Pay
20 hours per week, working alternate weekends (mixture of early and late shifts). £12.43 per hour (plus enhancements for weekend working).
