Strategic Leader for Quality Assurance

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to join our senior leadership team as the Head of Independent Review. The successful candidate will be responsible for quality assurance in both the Tameside Strategic Safeguarding Partnership and Local Authority Functions.
The role holder will oversee the management of IROs and CP Chairs, driving performance and practice improvements to achieve better outcomes for children and families.
The ideal candidate will be a strong, credible leader with a passion for empowering and developing the workforce, fostering a positive organisational culture to achieve our ambitious improvement plan.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Leading the quality assurance process to ensure high standards of practice
- Managing the IROs and CP Chairs to improve performance and outcomes
- Developing and implementing strategies to improve the quality of care and support for children and families
- Collaborating with stakeholders to achieve our improvement plan
