As a Senior Residential Care Manager at Amber Mace, you will lead a welcoming Ofsted-rated "Good" home for children and young people in Dewsbury. This home provides specialized care for children with learning disabilities, autism, epilepsy, and associated behaviors.

About the Role
  • You will be responsible for developing individualized care plans tailored to each young person's needs.
  • Build a strong team through recruitment, inductions, and leadership.
  • Foster an environment where young people can share feedback on their care.
  • Ensure high standards of care and compliance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Address concerns and complaints responsibly.
  • Promote a safe, nurturing environment for young people.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Developing and implementing care plans that cater to the diverse needs of our residents.
  2. Leading by example and setting a high standard of care within the home.
  3. Maintaining open communication channels to ensure transparency and trust among staff and residents.
  4. Cultivating a culture of continuous improvement, embracing new ideas and best practices.
  5. Building and maintaining effective relationships with local authorities, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in residential childcare, including experience in a supervisory role. A Level 3 qualification in Children's Residential Care is required, as well as familiarity with Quality Standards, SCCIF, and relevant childcare legislation.

We offer a competitive salary up to £48,000 per annum DOE and a full UK driving license is required for this position.
