As a Bar and Waiting Apprentice at Castle, you\u0027ll be the personality behind the beer pumps, the expert on our drink\u0027s menu, and know our food menu inside out. You\u0027ll frequently recommend your favorites to our guests, making them feel welcome and valued.

Responsibilities
  • Greet and serve our guests with a smile
  • Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and safety
  • Work with the team to create a friendly atmosphere our guests will love
  • Know our menus inside out and make recommendations to our guests
  • Be a champion of brand standards

You don\u0027t need any experience. We\u0027ll teach you the ins and outs of working as part of our busy teams. All you need is a warm and helpful manner to everyone you meet.

What Your Apprenticeship Includes
  • A mixture of face-to-face and remote catch-ups every 4-6 weeks
  • A combination of on-the-job and off-the-job training, including workshops and webinars
  • Regular reviews with your Apprentice, Line Manager, and Lifetime Trainer
  • Feedback sessions to discuss your progress
  • Obtain Functional Skills in English and Maths (if you don\u0027t already have GCSE)
  • 30 hours paid work every week

Your wage will be:

  • 16-20 year olds: £8.60 per hour
  • 21+ year olds: £11.44 per hour

At Castle, you\u0027ll be working towards a Hospitality Team Member Level 2 Apprenticeship standard over the course of 15 months.
