We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to provide bookkeeping services, including VAT returns, to our clients based in rural Scotland. This role will involve managing multiple sets of books/accounts within a portfolio or agency, utilizing accounting software such as Farmplan Business Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing bookkeeping services, including VAT returns, to clients in rural Scotland.
  • Managing multiple sets of books/accounts within a portfolio or agency.
  • Utilizing accounting software, such as Farmplan Business Manager.
  • Assisting with payroll processing and general office administration.

Requirements:

  • A bookkeeping qualification to AAT level 3 or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years experience in a bookkeeping role.
  • Experience managing multiple sets of books/accounts within a portfolio or agency.
  • Working knowledge of accounting software.

Work Arrangements:

  • This is an office-based role.
  • There is flexibility around hours and days of work, with a minimum of 20 hours.
  • Your own transport is essential due to the location of the office.
