About the Job:

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Elysium Healthcare. The successful candidate will have expert knowledge of working with survivors of acquired brain injury, individuals with neurodegenerative conditions, and complex physical health conditions.

The role involves working 7.5 hours a week at Badby Park and 30 hours a week at St Neot's Hospital. Our patients require specialized care, and we need a skilled professional to provide leadership and deliver high-quality care.

Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Lead a team of professionals in providing medical services to patients with neurological conditions and mental illnesses.">
  • Work closely with external stakeholders to ensure seamless transitions for service users returning to the community.">
  • Chair ward MDT meetings and contribute to the development of clinical policies and standards.">
  • Participate in delivering Clinical Governance and Continuous Professional Development initiatives.">
  • Ensure adherence to the Care Programme Approach and evaluate the medical service through audits.">

Requirements:

  • MRCPsych or equivalent medical qualification.">
  • Excellent communication skills and experience in a management role (desirable).">
  • Innovative and imaginative approach to corporate decision-making.">
  • Leadership ability and understanding of current developments in psychiatry.">
  • Previous consultant experience is desirable.">
