About the Role:

This is a unique opportunity to join our Neurological Service as a Consultant Psychiatrist. You will work closely with our established teams of professionals to deliver high-quality care to patients with complex needs.

Your responsibilities will include leading a multidisciplinary team, managing referrals, conducting unit rounds, and participating in Care and Treatment Reviews. You will also be required to deliver regular supervision to junior members of the team.

As a senior member of our team, you will contribute to the development of clinical policies and standards, participate in Clinical Governance initiatives, and ensure adherence to the Care Programme Approach.

To succeed in this role, you must have a strong background in psychiatry, excellent communication skills, and experience in a management position. You should also be able to demonstrate innovative thinking, leadership ability, and a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Requirements:

  • ">
  • MRCPsych or equivalent medical qualification.">
  • Excellent communication skills and experience in a management role (desirable).">
  • Innovative and imaginative approach to corporate decision-making.">
  • Leadership ability and understanding of current developments in psychiatry.">
  • Previous consultant experience is desirable.">

Salary: £140,000 per annum, including a car allowance of £8,400.
