About the Role
Publicis Sapient is seeking a seasoned Associate Director, Business Development to drive new business opportunities in the Energy and Commodities industry, particularly in Supply and Trading. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and closing new business in this sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Source new opportunities through various channels, including marketing, events, alliances, and networking.
- Execute a strategic sales approach, often leading teams to progress opportunities, and harnessing the depth and breadth of Publicis Sapient's portfolio.
- Lead the strategy and execution of new pipeline development for the company in the assigned markets and industries.
- Develop and nurture senior-level client relationships, fostering trusted advisor relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Apply a data-driven sales approach, including research and business intelligence.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in IT and business professional services with a proven record of developing and closing new business in the Energy and Commodities sectors.
- Practical and proven expertise to develop and break into a target set of prospective clients through various channels.
- Experience working within the Energy and Commodities sector and connections within the industry to facilitate access to clients and opportunities.
- Proven examples of proactive shaping of opportunities that resulted in non-competitive awards of work.
- Excellent spoken and written communication and proficiency in Microsoft presentation tools.
