Job Title: Sports Coach/PE Cover Supervisor

Location: Leicester

Job Type: Temporary/Contract

Salary: £85-£100 per day

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Sports Coach/PE Cover Supervisor to join our team at TeacherActive. As a Sports Coach/PE Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing PE lessons with students from KS3 up to KS5 level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality PE lessons to students from KS3 up to KS5 level
  • Manage a class of students within the age range 11-16
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the needs of students with varying abilities
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a smooth and effective learning environment

Requirements:

  • 6 months of experience working with children/in education
  • Confidence in managing a class of students within the age range 11-16
  • Excellent behaviour management
  • An excellent knowledge of a wide range of sports and the theory side of PE
