HR Service Centre - Compliance Specialist
Location: The Compliance Specialist position is open in various locations, offering a hybrid work model with a blend of on-site and remote work.
Position Overview
Become a vital part of Markerstudy's HR Service Centre, where we deliver HR Administrative support to HR Business Partners, Managers, and employees across the organization.
Reporting directly to the HR Operations Manager, the HR Compliance Specialist will oversee and facilitate essential compliance functions in this newly established role.
The successful candidate will possess strong HR Administration skills, with a solid understanding of HR processes, compliance testing, and adherence to relevant legislation and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and assess HR risks and controls, collaborating with the Operational Excellence team to propose and implement effective solutions.
- Conduct compliance testing, including making informed recommendations, compiling detailed reports, and suggesting process improvements.
- Perform audits to ensure adherence to established standards.
- Review and act upon recommendations from internal and external audit reports.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks, including the Senior Managers & Certification Regime and Visa and Right to Work regulations.
- Monitor adherence to processes and agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Drive and facilitate organizational change initiatives.
- Assist in the regular updating of HR process documentation.
- Support the integration and implementation of HR Operations processes.
- Adhere to FCA and Data Protection Regulations.
- Manage ad hoc tasks as required to support team objectives.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven knowledge and experience in HR Administration processes.
- Familiarity with the Senior Managers & Certification Regime.
- Experience in administrative processing and understanding of Visa and right-to-work documentation.
- Demonstrated success in a dynamic and complex administrative or compliance role.
- Experience in assessing key risks and controls.
- Project management experience within HR.
- Ability to work autonomously and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience with HR systems and tools.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
