Job Details
We are seeking a Train Driver to join our team in Scotland. As a key player in our Freight services, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and reliable service operation of freight trains. You will work with rostering and training teams, driver standards managers, delivery managers, and staff at all levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure safety of the line and all employees and public that may be affected by the operation of trains.
- Have existing Scottish route knowledge.
- Have a clean safety record.
- Have a current PTS (third rail) appropriate to CTRL.
- Have a full UK driving licence.
- Be flexible with working shift patterns.
- Be able to identify competency standards required as a result of legislation, operational standards and safety procedures and maintain same by audit and surveillance.
