We are seeking an experienced Transportation Training Specialist to join our team at Ascott Transport Ltd. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for our drivers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyse driver data from digital systems, including in-cab telematics, to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective plans where necessary.
  • Design and deliver effective driver induction and training programs for both permanent and temporary drivers, ensuring statutory training requirements are met.
  • Work with external consultants to deliver tailored training based on recommendations and conduct regular driving assessments to identify areas of improvement.
  • Develop and implement a driver challenge scheme using telematics systems and design courses to include topics such as tachograph, manual handling, fuel management, defensive driving, load security, safety, and more.
Requirements:
  • Excellent knowledge of the transport industry and previous experience in effectively engaging with drivers to promote a positive culture and improve their driving behaviour.
  • Developed and delivered in-cab and classroom training, including CPC courses to legal standards.
  • Used telematics to monitor and improve driver behaviour and implemented corrective actions when necessary.
