About the Job

We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our neonatal transport team as a Transport Doctor for Neonates. The successful candidate will have a strong clinical background in neonatology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe transportation of critically ill newborns across the East Midlands Operational Delivery Network. You will work closely with our experienced transport nursing team and consultant colleagues to ensure seamless handovers and optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing medical leadership and expertise during neonatal transports
  • Working closely with transport nursing team and consultant colleagues to ensure seamless handovers and optimal patient outcomes
  • Contribution to the development of policies and procedures
  • Participation in quality improvement projects
  • Engagement in educational activities to enhance the skills of junior staff members
