**About the Job**

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Paediatric Physiotherapist to join our Transformation Unit at University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust.

The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background in Paediatrics, with experience working with infants on neonatal units. A comprehensive understanding of clinical assessment techniques, advanced handling skills, and Neurodevelopmental care is essential.

This role offers the opportunity to be part of a multidisciplinary team and contribute to the development of the therapy service. The successful applicant will work closely with nursing staff, medical teams, and other Allied Health Professionals to provide highly specialist advice and education.

About the Role

  • To act as a Clinical Specialist for the Neonatal Physiotherapy Speciality within the Trust, coordinating service development and evaluation.
  • To provide clinical leadership in the field of neonatal Physiotherapy across acute sites of the University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust.
  • To offer specialist advice and education to physiotherapy staff, MDT members, nursing staff, and other clinical specialities within the Trust.

Key Requirements

  • Degree in Physiotherapy and HCPC registration.
  • Completion of HEE Neonatal Foundation Modules.
  • Evidence of relevant postgraduate experience in Paediatrics.
