Advanced Specialist Pharmacist

Job Summary
University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust is seeking an experienced clinical pharmacist to join our team as an Advanced Specialist Pharmacist in Respiratory Medicine. The successful candidate will be based at the Royal Stoke site, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality pharmaceutical care to patients with respiratory conditions.
Main Responsibilities
- Utilize expert pharmaceutical knowledge to manage acutely ill patients in the respiratory setting.
- Provide specialist prescriber support for complex and expanding medicine regimes, including high-cost drugs used in severe asthma.
- Support efficient discharge medication supply routes and lead on the development of junior staff.

Requirements
- Masters degree in Pharmacy (MPharm) or equivalent.
- Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Postgraduate Clinical Pharmacy Diploma/MSc or equivalent qualification.
- Independent Prescriber with appropriate annotation on the GPhC register or willingness to undertake training.
