Job Opportunity

University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust is seeking an experienced clinical pharmacist to fill the role of Advanced Specialist Pharmacist in Respiratory Medicine.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing acutely ill patients in the respiratory setting, utilizing expert pharmaceutical knowledge to provide high-quality care.

Key duties include:

  • Utilizing expert pharmaceutical knowledge to manage acutely ill patients in the respiratory setting.
  • Providing specialist prescriber support for complex and expanding medicine regimes, including high-cost drugs used within severe asthma.
  • Supporting efficient discharge medication supply routes.
  • Line managing junior staff and leading on their development during their respiratory rotations.
