About Respiratory Physiology Service
The Respiratory Physiology Service at the University Hospital of North Midlands NHS Trust provides a comprehensive respiratory service for the local population and serves as a tertiary referral centre for surrounding areas. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Respiratory Physiologist/Clinical Scientist to join our team.
Main Responsibilities
The successful candidate will work in conjunction with the service lead to provide specialist clinical services for the investigation and treatment of respiratory and non-respiratory disorders. This will involve working with a range of patients, from those with routine investigations to those requiring more complex therapeutic interventions.
Person Specification
We are looking for an individual with a proven track record of experience as an independent practitioner in Respiratory Physiology. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Clinical Physiology or a related field and be registered with the Association for Respiratory Technology and Physiology (ARTP) or the Royal College of Clinical Physiology (RCCP). They will also have knowledge of specialist procedures acquired through specialist or management courses or training/experience to an advanced level.

- Independence in routine and specialised investigations and therapeutic interventions
- Theoretical and practical knowledge of a range of work procedures and practices up to MSc level
