Job Summary


We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Respiratory Physiologist to join our dynamic team at the University Hospital of North Midlands NHS Trust.


Main Duties


The successful candidate will work alongside our service lead to provide specialist clinical services for the investigation and treatment of respiratory and non-respiratory disorders.

Key responsibilities include working independently to conduct a range of routine and specialist investigations, as well as providing therapeutic interventions.


Person Specification


We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in respiratory physiology and a proven track record of experience as an independent practitioner.


Education and Qualifications



  • Clinical Physiology/MSc or equivalent degree
  • ARTP/RCCP/AHCS qualified
  • Knowledge of specialist procedures acquired through specialist/management courses or training/experience to advanced level

Desirable Qualifications and Experience



  • Teaching qualification
  • Commissioning experience
