Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to lead the physiology team at the Respiratory Physiology Service, Royal Stoke University Hospital.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing a Respiratory Physiology Service, experience as an independent practitioner across the range of routine and specialised investigations and therapeutic interventions, and theoretical and practical knowledge of a range of work procedures and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialist clinical services for the investigation and treatment of all respiratory and non-respiratory disorders.
  • Support senior clinicians, managers, and contribute to the development of a quality and cost-effective service.
  • Maintain a clinical input and keep up-to-date with professional issues by performing a range of clinical and scientific activities.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of managing a Respiratory Physiology Service.
  • Experience as an independent practitioner across the range of routine and specialised investigations and therapeutic interventions.
  • Theoretical and practical knowledge of a range of work procedures and practices.
  • Education to MSc level.
