As a Child and Family Support Coordinator at Service Care Solutions Ltd, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality services to children, young people, and their families in Newcastle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with children, young people, and their families to identify needs and develop effective support plans.
  • Provide direct work with families, including emergency interventions, to promote positive outcomes and reduce the need for specialist services.
  • Work closely with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery and collaboration.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with local agencies and stakeholders to enhance service provision.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in working with children and families or equivalent qualification/experience.
  • Experience working directly with children, families, or carers in a relevant setting.
  • Understanding of child development, stress, trauma, and strategies to address these effects.
  • Familiarity with safeguarding procedures for adults and children.

Salary: £17.94 per hour, paid twice a week.
