Make a difference in the lives of vulnerable children with Staffordshire County Council.

We're looking for an experienced Family Support Specialist to join our team. In this rewarding role, you'll play a vital part in supporting children's understanding of their birth identity and supervising their time with birth parents.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping families build positive relationships. You'll facilitate therapeutic family time between children and their parents or other family members, coordinate arrangements for Family Time as directed by court, and provide parenting support and guidance during Family Time.

You'll need to be flexible to work evenings and occasional weekends as needed. As well as a strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people/vulnerable adults, you'll have excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with families and carers.

This is a challenging yet highly rewarding role that requires a minimum NVQ 3 in working with children and families or equivalent experience. If you're passionate about making a difference in the lives of vulnerable children, we'd love to hear from you.

**Estimated Salary:** £24,879 - £30,415 per annum
