Job Title: Health, Safety and Environmental Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health, Safety and Environmental Manager to join our team at The HSE Recruitment Network. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of our employees, customers, and the wider community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain effective health, safety, and environmental policies, procedures, and programs.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and implement controls to mitigate risks.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on health, safety, and environmental procedures and best practices.
- Investigate incidents and accidents, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to health, safety, and environmental performance.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement the annual health, safety, and environmental plan.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, insurers, and industry associations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a health, safety, and environmental management role, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
