Job Summary
The HSE Recruitment Network is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health, Safety and Environmental Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of our employees, customers, and the general public.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and implement controls to mitigate risks.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on health, safety, and environmental procedures and best practices.
- Investigate incidents and accidents, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement the annual health, safety, and environmental plan.
- Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to health, safety, and environmental performance.
Requirements
- High risk, fast-paced manufacturing experience, preferably in the food, paper, packaging, or beverage industry.
- Multi-site experience or previous experience managing a large site.
- Environmental experience, including consent to discharge.
- Robust character, people-centric, and a positive communicator.
- Hands-on, dynamic, and able to gain buy-in at all levels.
- Outgoing, engaging, and confident in their approach.
