Health, Safety and Environmental Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health, Safety and Environmental Manager to join our team at Executive Network Group. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental management across our operations.
Key Responsibilities- Health, Safety and Environmental Leadership: Provide strategic direction and guidance on health, safety, and environmental matters, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Site Management: Oversee the implementation of health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures across our sites, ensuring a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
- Team Development: Develop and coach our team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles safely and effectively.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, insurers, and other industry professionals, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Incident Investigation and Reporting: Investigate and report on all incidents, near misses, and property damage, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor and report on key health, safety, and environmental performance indicators, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Machinery Safety and Guarding: Focus on ensuring the safe operation of machinery and equipment, implementing measures to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Annual HSE Plan Development: Support the senior leadership team in developing the annual health, safety, and environmental plan, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Creative Freedom: Take ownership of your role and implement your own ideas and initiatives to drive health, safety, and environmental excellence.

- Best Practice Sharing: Contribute to the development of best practices across our organization, sharing your expertise with colleagues and contributing to the central Health, Safety and Environment Team.
- High-Risk Manufacturing Experience: Proven experience working in high-risk, fast-paced manufacturing environments, ideally in the food, paper, packaging, or beverage industry.
- Multisite Experience: Experience managing multiple sites or a large site previously, with a strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities that come with this.
- Robust Character: A strong, confident individual with a robust character, able to lead and influence others.
- People-Centric: A people-focused individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
