Job Title: Commercial Estimator

PRS is seeking a skilled Commercial Estimator to join our team. As a Commercial Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for residential and commercial fit-out projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyse project plans, specifications, and material requirements to determine labour, material, and equipment costs.
  • Conduct thorough site surveys and analyse project specifications to understand project scope and complexity.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for all aspects of the fit-out project, including subcontractor costs, research and obtain competitive quotes from suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Analyse data and market trends to ensure estimates are accurate and reflect current pricing.
  • Identify potential cost risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain a cost database to track historical project data for future reference.
  • Work collaboratively with project managers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure project feasibility within budget.
Requirements:
  • Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
  • Understanding of construction methods and materials for fit-out projects.
  • Experience with building codes and regulations (a plus).
  • Valid driver's license.
