Commercial Construction Estimator Job Description

Our client, a leading civil engineering contractor, is seeking a skilled Commercial Construction Estimator to support their Commercial Manager on a large infrastructure project in Warwickshire.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Monitor and manage rates, prices, and variations to ensure project profitability.
  2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders to drive project success.
  3. Prepare and negotiate claims, as well as commercial progress reports, to ensure accurate financial reconciliation.
  4. Measure and respond to commercial progress, providing regular updates to the Commercial Manager.
Requirements:
  1. Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related technical field.
  2. Experience in reinforced concrete structures and civil engineering.
  3. Proficiency in using a range of IT packages, including Microsoft Office and bespoke software.
  4. Strong commercial awareness and understanding of the construction process.
