Sales Consultant

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Consultant to join our Commercial team at Sunderland Association Football Club. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating new income through the sale of Commercial Hospitality and Match Day Sponsorships.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new leads to contribute to team sales performance
- Keep clients informed of availability and offers with regular contact and upsell opportunities
- Present the Clubs Portfolio of products in an appropriate manner
- Conduct relevant market research and analysis to identify key trends
- Prepare creative proposals for clients
- Manage full sales process from initial introduction to completion
- Build internal relationships across all departments
- Support Commercial Sales Manager with continuous business development and action of sales initiatives
- Ensure the highest standard of customer service is always offered
- Manage and ensure customer records and accounts are up to date
- Record and manage customer bookings in line with Club expectation
- Follow standard operating procedures as set by the Club
- Ability to achieve and exceed sales targets and KPI's
- Always understand and comply with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
Requirements
- Sales experience.
- Excellent customer service and sales skills.
- Strong verbal and written communicator.
- Excellent phone and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM, and sales software programs.
- Good negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Hold a clean current driving license
