The University of Cambridge invites applications for a Fluid Dynamics Project Coordinator position within its Department of Engineering. This 60% FTE role is perfect for an individual with a background in Fluid Dynamics or a related field, looking to apply their expertise in a research support capacity.
Job Description:This position involves planning, designing, and managing research activities for data assimilation in fluid dynamics. The appointee will test and refine the developed code with synthetic data, apply it to new and existing Flow-MRI data, and process data from collaborators into a locally-readable format.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- PhD in Fluid Dynamics or a related subject.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with Excel and Word.
The salary for this role is estimated at £33,500-£35,500 per annum pro-rata, based on experience. Appointment at Research Associate level is dependent on holding a PhD (or equivalent experience).
