Job Description:

This PhD research opportunity is focused on developing a novel spectral framework for analyzing wall-bounded turbulence.

The successful candidate will work closely with our team to design and conduct experiments, analyze large datasets, and develop data-driven analysis tools.

This project has significant implications for various fields, including aerospace, mechanical engineering, and mathematics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a novel spectral framework for analyzing wall-bounded turbulence
  • Conduct high-fidelity direct simulations of turbulence over smooth and rough/complex surfaces
Requirements:

A minimum of a high 2:1 honors degree (preferably a 1st) in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering, Maths (fluids/applied), or a related subject

Salary and Benefits:
