About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join our research group. The successful candidate will work on a new collaborative project with a start-up company in Cambridgeshire, focusing on oxide thin film materials with electrical switching effects in epitaxial binary ferroelectric oxide thin films. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research in non-volatile memory or neuromorphic computing.

Key responsibilities include experimental research in a team environment, working under the supervision of Prof Driscoll. The candidate will undertake thin film growth, materials characterisation, and electrical device fabrication and testing. A PhD in materials science or a closely related subject is required, along with experience in these methods. Experience in 2D materials such as graphene, hexagonal boron nitride, and transition metal dichalcogenides would be advantageous.

The salary for this position is approximately £35,000-£45,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
