We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Data Platforms Pre-sales Solution Lead to join our team at Computacenter. As a key member of our Cloud & Applications business, you will play a critical role in helping our customers build world-class software solutions, leverage data and AI to drive effective decision-making, and provision cloud platforms to power their business forward.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work independently and alongside our Solution Sales Specialists and Account Managers to identify, qualify, and progress complex transformation opportunities in the field of Cloud Data Platforms.
  • Help position technologies from leading industry partners, alongside Computacenter's core catalogue of Professional Services and Portfolio of Services for Cloud Data Platforms.
  • Attend customer opportunity/strategy meetings to understand and articulate business and technical strategy for both Computacenter and the customer.
  • Understand and be an expert internally for our core Data & Cloud go-to-market propositions and advocate for these amongst the sales community.
  • Help represent the voice of the customer into internal forums to develop our Portfolio of Service offerings where requested, and in support of the Solution Area Director.

Secondary Responsibilities and Opportunities

  • Help influence the development of Data & Cloud propositions and strategy of the Cloud & Applications Solution Area, working alongside our Group development colleagues and the Office of the CTO.
  • Engage within a broad virtual team across Computacenter comprising Professional Services, Group Managed Services, Solution Leaders, and Architects to help customers access and procure key technology solutions and services.
  • Experience in selling compelling and innovative Data & Cloud customer solutions.
  • Ability to identify commercial opportunities within Data & Cloud technologies.
  • Experience with helping customers procure Professional Services offerings, alongside Technology Solutions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Cloud & Data technologies.
  • Expertise in Cloud Data Platforms, Snowflake, Databricks, WEKA, AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Strong understanding of Data & Cloud go-to-market propositions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
