Lead Autism Specialist Role

We are recruiting a Lead Autism Specialist to join our Adult Autism Mental Health Support Service at Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and delivery of innovative services that transform the lives of autistic adults and their families.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in clinical psychology, with expertise in autism diagnosis and assessment. You will possess excellent communication and consultation skills, with the ability to provide high-quality advice and guidance to colleagues.
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting teams across the trust to develop care formulations for autistic service users, ensuring a responsive and high-quality service is provided. You will also undertake autism diagnostic assessments under HAADS and maintain compliance with the trust's key performance indicators.
Key Requirements:
- Post-graduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology or its equivalent.
- Significant experience working as a practitioner psychologist, particularly in the specialist field of autism.
- Excellent communication and consultation skills.

- An estimated salary of £60,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on experience.
