About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Tesco. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacies, providing excellent customer service, and supporting the management team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Dispensing prescription medicines accurately and efficiently
  • Providing information and advice to customers on common ailments, symptoms, and products
  • Supporting the management team in the day-to-day running of the pharmacy
  • Working closely with colleagues to ensure a high level of customer service
  • Maintaining accurate records and adhering to Standard Operating Procedures

Requirements

  • Pharmacy Technician/NVQ qualification or equivalent
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council as a Pharmacy Technician
  • Proof of completion of a recognised training course for an Accuracy Checking Technician/Pharmacy Technician
  • Proof of completing annual Continuing Professional Development requirements
