About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Tesco. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the management of our modern pharmacies and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the management of our pharmacies, ensuring accurate dispensing of medication and maintaining high standards of customer service.
- Work closely with our pharmacy team to provide a seamless customer experience, offering information and advice on common ailments and products.
- Assess the legal appropriateness of dispensed prescriptions and respond to customer queries in relation to prescription medicines.
- Ensure all dispensary routines and Standard Operating Procedures are followed, maintaining a clean and tidy dispensary and consulting rooms.
Requirements
- A pharmacy technician/accuracy checking technician NVQ (or similar) qualification.
- Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council as a Pharmacy Technician/Accuracy Checking Technician.
- Proof of completing your annual Continuing Professional Development requirements.
