Salary: From £47,672.50 a year

Contract: Full time, permanent. Overtime available

About the role:

Fairport Containers are recruiting for a skilled Mechanic / HGV Technician to maintain and repair our fleet of vehicles. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring our vehicles are safe and roadworthy at all times.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Maintain and repair vehicles to a high standard
  2. Conduct routine checks on vehicles to identify any potential issues
  3. Carry out repairs and maintenance work as required
  4. Work closely with other members of the team to ensure smooth operations

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience of working as an HGV mechanic or technician
  • Strong knowledge of HGV maintenance and repair
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills
