Farm Regional Business Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Farm Regional Business Manager to join our team at CVS Group Plc. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to oversee the Midlands and Wales regions, covering Severn Edge Farm, Cheshire Farm Vets, Dyfed Farm Vets, and Pembroke Farm Vets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify new business opportunities, including new markets, clients, farms, buying groups, products, and clinical services.
  • Build relationships with current clients and potential new clients or buying groups, focusing on expanding our sales and client base in Wales.
  • Explore opportunities for new practice sites to enable geographical expansion, with the practice at Severn Edge looking to open at least one new branch within the next 12 months.
  • Create sales and profit forecasts and actively work towards reaching them, communicating this to the team and key stakeholders within each region.
Requirements:
  • A passion for agriculture and understanding of the challenges faced by our clients.
  • A strong understanding of the company's products and services, the competition in the industry, and positioning.
  • The energy to grow the practices and their services, looking to offer leading clinical care and be the go-to farm vets within their region.
  • The ability to build a program of engaging client meetings and events across the region, building strong relationships between the different practice teams and the local farming industry.
  • The ability to identify and attend key shows in the region and manage the marketing budgets to maximize each practice's exposure.
  • The ability to collaborate with the rest of the Regional Business team to design and produce social media, website, and flyers as required, as well as offers and adverts based on products seasonality and competitor activity.
