Solar Business Development Manager Opportunity

We are partnering with a rapidly growing solar installation business in the North West to find a skilled Solar Business Development Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the company's growth and success.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a sales strategy to sell the company's solar proposition to new business customers in the North West. This will involve leading sales opportunities, growing and managing a pipeline, and negotiating client contracts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to sell the company's solar proposition to new business customers in the North West.
  • Lead sales opportunities from plan to close, achieving growth and hitting sales targets.
  • Grow and manage a pipeline of opportunities, reporting to management on a regular basis.
  • Negotiate and secure client contracts.
  • Qualify opportunities through early analysis and collect data and detailed information from customers.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2+ years' experience in solar sales - residential.
  • Some experience of solar PV design is advantageous but not essential.
  • Solid and verifiable track record of overachievement and verifiable record of successfully growing market share.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand the technical workings of the product and convey the advanced technical product benefits to potential customers.
  • Proven track record of identifying, negotiating/converting and closing deals.
  • Ability to identify and convert new accounts while maintaining existing relationships.
  • Demonstrated success in operating effectively in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, complex, rapid growth environment.
  • A distinct customer service focus.
  • Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication.
  • Fluent English.
  • A hungry go-getter with a strong can-do and hands-on approach.
  • An energetic, highly motivated and driven person.
  • Team player.
  • Home based, location is flexible.
  • Full, clean, driving licence.
Package on Offer

£40k pa basic + car + commission expected OTE £60,000 pa once established in the role.
