Job Title: Senior Mental Health Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mental Health Practitioner to join our team at Turning Point. As a key member of our Substance Use Treatment Service, you will play a vital role in providing support to individuals with dual diagnosis needs.

The ideal candidate will have a Doctorate in Clinical, Counselling or Forensic Psychology, or a relevant qualification, and will have a strong understanding of recovery models and approaches. You will also have experience of line managing staff and be able to assess and manage risks related to mental health difficulties and substance consumption.

As a Senior Mental Health Practitioner, you will be responsible for developing and implementing bespoke support plans for service users, working closely with our Principal Practitioner Psychologist. You will also have line management responsibility for a number of key roles linked to Safeguarding, including the named Safeguarding Leads.
